The BGA’s Volunteer Citizen Watchdog Training is a free program that empowers citizens to examine government and demand the changes they want to see.

In a series of free training sessions, citizens learn exactly how to keep watch on government. Veteran journalists and legal professionals lead sessions on understanding government, the Open Meetings Act and the Freedom of Information Act. You’ll also hear from regular citizens who are involved and making a difference in their communities.
