New Skokie Walmart Shopping Center project at the intersection of Touhy & St. Louis


There is a new major Walmart shopping center development that has been approved by the village council.

The site is 14 acres and lies between Touhy on the South, Chase Avenue on the North, Lawndale Avenue on the West and St. Louis Avenue on the East.  This is just a bit West of Crawford Avenue.

The major increase in traffic that this will generate is a major concern to local residents. Here is a Skokie Patch investigative article about these concerns.
