Skokie Gets an A+ on Transparency

The Village of Skokie has been awarded a score of 100 by  the Illinois Policy Institute (IPI) for its governmental transparency.  Skokie was one of only only 5 municipalities in Illinois to attain a 100% score.

Personally I think this is in large part due to Mayor Van Dusen’s leadership. We have not always agreed with his administration of the village, but from our observation he always appears to deal with people in a straightforward and honest manner.
